Today we went on our first field trip with a group called Field Trip Friends. Our field trip was a whale watching cruise on the Star of Honolulu.

This is our souvenir photo. I did bring my camera, but I forgot the battery at home! :0 All the pictures are from the field trip group leaders, besides this photo. The good thing is that I did have my mini-video camera.

Here we are on deck to see the whales. We actually saw two whales, a mama and her baby!

The disturbance in the water is actually the whales. We even saw them breach! Gigi saw the whale's tale!

When we were on deck, a really nice tourist let Gianna wear her lei for a photo opportunity. :)

When we were walking around the ship, one of the crew members gave Gianna some flowers. She was tickled pink!

We spotted the whales within the first hour of the cruise, so the rest of the time we just cruised the ship. On one of the floors, the crew was teaching hula lessons. Here's Gigi shaking her stuff.


After the cruise we stopped off at Starbucks for an iced soy latte for Gianna and an iced tea for me. :)
On the way to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Wahiawa, we stopped over in Mililani to help celebrate Hailey's birthday. Auntie Tyra had a huge jumping thing in her backyard. Here's a clip of Gigi and Mason in it.
