This morning, Grandma noticed that the butterfly was emerging from the chrysalis.  When it was ready to fly away, we brought the container out to the garage.

I opened the lid to let Gigi get a closer look at the butterfly, and it immediately flew away!

It flew to the hedges, and then over into the neighbor's yard.  We'll have to do this again, when Gigi is older.
