April 5, 2008 - Baby Loves Disco

This afternoon, Papa, Gigi, and I went to the O Lounge to go dancing! We went to a Baby Loves Disco (http://www.babylovesdisco.com/) event which was sold out! We headed straight to the dance floor, but Gigi was a bit scared by all of the commotion going around her.
Gianna was not letting go of me.
She did notice the balloons around the room, and it became Papa's mission to get her one.
Luckily, Papa got Gigi smiling with his partner dance moves!
Gigi sipped on a juice box (her first!) while Papa waited in line for her to get a temporary tattoo.
Gigi carefully looked at her choices, and then decided on the butterfly. :)
Here she is getting air-brushed.
With a sprinkle of glitter, Gigi's all set.
Papa rocks! He got Gigi a balloon. She was very happy. :)
Now that Gigi had a tattoo, a balloon, and a drink. She was ready to hit the dance floor. This scarf is like the one she played with in Kindermusik class.
Papa swept Gigi off her feet for this dance to "Funky Town".
Gigi's taking a break by drinking her SECOND juice box!
The juice break refreshed Gigi. She heard Earth, Wind, and Fire, and she was ready to dance on her own.
Although she's dancing, her moves are pretty subdued compared to what she busts out in the comfort and privacy of her own home.
Here she is shaking a couple of maracas.
The little boy to her left saw her dancing to Donna Summer, and he began to make his move. ;)
The bubble machine turned on while we were dancing to the Bee Gees.

What a great time we all had at the O Lounge! On our way out the door, Gigi stopped for a THIRD juice box! The doorman said that normally, patrons are not allowed to leave the club with their drinks, but he said that it was okay for Gigi to take her 'drink' out the door. ;)
