This morning we arrived at Japanese class a few minutes early, so Gianna got to play on the slide. She actually crawled underneath the slide through the hole!

There was a new student in class today. During the music session, he wanted to play Gigi's xylophone rather than his own.
Although he kept banging away on her xylophone, Gianna did not seem to mind it. She was just happy to play along with the music.

After class, we headed over to Nordstrom for the first time! I wanted to find Gigi some sandals, because I'm so tired of putting socks on her everyday! Here she is running around barefoot, while we waited for the salesperson to bring Gigi some sandals to try on.

Auntie Joyce and Makenzie came to the mall to meet us. We tried to eat at the cafe at Nordstrom, but it was packed! Instead, we headed over to have lunch at Neiman Marcus. Here's the two girls munching away on some organic cereal and apple slices.

Gigi was very interested in my salad and helped herself to a tomato slice. Recently, Gigi's been more willing to try new foods. It's really fun to go out with her. She's more like a real person now, rather than a little baby. ;)
