Today we went over to visit Auntie Nellie, Uncle Eric, and Violet in their new home in Foster City. They have a BEAUTIFUL house in a great location. The live right next door to a fabulous park!

Here's Gianna with Violet. Violet is six months younger than Gigi, but she's walking just as long as Gianna has. Violet is also 22 lbs, and Gigi is 23 lbs.

Unfortunately, Gianna was not showing the love. She had a sour expression the whole time we were there.

Violet, on the other hand, was all smiles! What a cutie!

We headed to the park to see if that would lighten Gianna's mood.

Everyone was having fun, except for G.

Not even swinging could make her crack a smile.

Here's Violet in her beautiful room. She sleeps in a queen-sized bed! A true princess, or should I say queen. :)
For dinner, we met Auntie Suzanne, Uncle Dave, and Griffin in San Francisco at .

We arrived before them, but Gianna was HUNGRY! She started munching on the bread sticks.
As soon as the Chens arrived, she gave a HUGE smile to Uncle Dave, who sat across the table from her.

With a little food in her, Gianna was back to her old, happy self. Unfortunately, the food was not enough to keep Gianna in her seat. She started to squirm around even as she was eating her pasta, so I had to bust out the DVD player during the appetizers! It's usually reserved for dessert.

Thank goodness for it! It entertained both Gianna and Griffin.

After the pasta, Gianna moved on to some mandarin oranges that I had brought with us. Look at Griffin's smile! What a charmer!

Here's Gigi feeding Griffin a bread stick. Did I mention that she ate at least five of them?!

I think he liked the attention.

Look what happened next. Papa had to get a behind-the-scene shot, since these two lovebirds were trying to be discreet.

Then the silliness began. Gianna started to play peek-a-boo.

It didn't help things when Griffin found it funny. She kept putting her head under the table cloth.

Soon after, Griffin joined in the fun.

Then the were hiding together!

When we, the parents, told them to stop playing with the table cloth, Gigi and Griffin simply moved on to their napkins.

In the end, I brought out flashcards to distract them.

Luckily, dessert arrived shortly afterwards.

It was a WONDERFUL time. I think the two G's were sad to see the evening end.
