Today at swimming, Coach Jenni worked with Gianna on her rollback to a swimming position from her back float position. Yesterday, when Gigi had on a t-shirt and skirt, she had trouble turning over.
Today I dressed her in her regular swimsuit. I think the heavy, water-logged diaper made it difficult for Gianna to flip over. Jenni and I noticed that Gigi was smiling, because the lifeguard came over to watch her. His presence really seemed to motivate her. :)
After dinner, Papa and I decided to dye eggs with Gianna and have an egg hunt to get her ready for Saturday. I boiled a dozen eggs, and we decorated them together.

The egg decorating kit came with a clear crayon, but Gianna couldn't see her marks, so I brought out regular crayons so she could color her eggs before dyeing them.

She liked coloring the eggs with the crayons.

I also got her some bunny ears, but she didn't like wearing them. She took them right off after Papa snapped this picture.

After all the eggs were dyed, I gave Gianna a marshmallow bunny.

She did NOT like it. I think it was too sugary for her.
Unfortunately, Papa and I did not take pictures of the finished eggs or of Gianna on her egg hunt. But, she did have a wonderful time looking for the eggs. We hid the eggs several times. She was having so much fun, that she kept wanting to look for eggs. The main thing is that I think she now understands that she's supposed to look for eggs. The only bad thing that happened was that she cracked a couple of eggs when she tossed them into her basket. :0
