Today we went on a field trip to a regular farm and a koi farm in Mililani. We were lucky that Papa was able to come with us.

As soon as we arrived at the farm, Gianna found a puppy to play with.

While everyone else was listening to a story about farm animals, Gianna went to play with the puppy.

She loves dogs!

Thank goodness this dog was just a little puppy. :)

Here we are visiting the goats.


I picked some grass so that Gianna could feed the goats, but Papa warned me to keep Gigi's fingers away from the fence.


Gigi's throwing some feed to these black pigs.

Now, Gianna's checking out the pink pigs.

Gigi started to chase some of the ducks and chickens that were milling around the pond.

Here she is "stopping". We were worried that she'd go straight into the pond. :0

Here we are feeding the sheep.

Our second stop was a koi farm. The man on the far left is the owner's son. They are from Japan. They came here to raise koi, because the weather was better for the fish.


They have TONS of koi, and the koi are very valuable!

Gianna got to see them up close, thanks to Papa.

I think she wanted to take some of them home with her. Luckily, the net was too heavy for her to handle.
