This afternoon we all went to the Honolulu Zoo! Papa had the day off, so we went on a family outing to the zoo. This was Gianna's first time to the zoo.

We parked at Kapiolani Park and strolled over to the zoo. The weather was nice and comfortable in the late afternoon. Here's Gigi in her ride.

Gianna's view from the stroller wasn't very good, so Papa and I had to keep taking her out so that she could see the animals.

Here we are by the monkeys.

Gianna enjoyed watching the monkeys swing around and play.

We checked out the tortoises, and they were also on the move.

Papa put Gigi on his shoulders so that she could get a better look at the rhinoceros and the zebras.

Here we are at the giraffe compound.

Gigi's FAVORITE stop was the open air aviary.

She loved interacting with the birds in there.

On our way out of the zoo, we stopped at the elephant compound, but they were busy eating. Gigi tried to jump the fence for a closer look, but luckily Papa caught her in time. Whew!
