Today is a MOMENTOUS day!

Gianna actually peed and pooed on the toilet today! When she got up this morning her diaper was still dry, so I immediately put her on the toilet, and I made "peeing" sounds while I splashed her bottom with warm water. After only a couple of splashes, she peed on her own. I was SOOOO happy. Even Sid heard it from the bedroom and cheered Gianna on.

I tried several other times to have Gigi pee on the toilet, but every time I checked her diaper, she had already peed. After she ate her late lunch, I checked her diaper again, but she had already peed. I decided to put her on the toilet anyway, because she usually poos after lunch. The great news is that she pooed on the toilet. I was amazed! I just rubbed her belly a bit to get things going, and Gigi did the rest.

Then, after Gigi got up from her afternoon nap, I put her on the toilet again, because her diaper was dry. Gianna peed without any intervention from me. As soon as I sat her down, she immediately began to pee!

The hard part is that I can't tell when she wants to pee. I can only try to put her on the toilet after her she immediately gets up.

On another note, I cooked beef casserole of Gianna for dinner, and she ate it all up with a side of butternut squash. I only had two servings of salmon left in the freezer. Gigi ate up all of the chicken, the braised beef, and the lamb. She really liked the lamb.
